It’s a brand new year, and that means things are changing! As we step into this promising chapter, we are thrilled to introduce the vibrant souls who will guide you through transformative yogic experiences. Our yoga family is expanding, and we are delighted to present our esteemed new yoga teachers, each a beacon of inspiration and expertise.

Jayde Margulis - NYC

Jayde Margulis is a New York City based yoga teacher, dancer and actress. Her journey with yoga began in Buffalo, NY, where Jayde grew up. Yoga has been a positive outlet for Jayde which she takes beyond the mat and into her everyday life. Jayde graduated from New York University Tisch School of the Arts with a BFA in Dance, and received her 200-hour certification through Yoga Renew Teacher Training. Her yoga classes focus on breath, mindfulness, and creating a supportive and positive environment for her students to grow and be the best version of themselves on and off their mat. Highlights of Jayde’s artistic career have been performing at Radio City Music Hall, The Joyce Theater, and choreographing, dancing and acting in music videos and short films.

Marisol Pacaja -NYC

Marisol's practice began in 2010 when her mom brought her to her first yoga class. Her journey continued through high school, college and life as a young professional in NYC, leading her all the way to taking her 200-hour YTT at the Yoga Common!

Marisol is passionate about being a shepherd on other yogi's path of practice. Her true joy is uplifting students on and off the mat.

Abigail Sakati - NYC

Abigail recently completed The Yoga Common’s 200 hour teacher training program, after practicing for about 7 years. Her practice is influenced by her dance background and she aims to create a positive environment that facilitates her students growth and connection to the practice.

Judith Volpi - NYC

Asherve Andre Walker - NYC

Asherve Andre Walker began his professional career as a professional dancer. Trained in Ballet, Modern, Jazz, and West African Dance, I toured domestically and internationally with Alvin Ailey II and Lula Washington Dance Theater. His desire to expose the world to dance, has extended beyond the stage, leading to my tenure at Ifetayo Cultural Arts Academy, where he taught ballet, modern, and hip hop to youth ranging from ages six to seventeen. Upon transitioning out of dance, he spent over ten years in corporate, where I supported teams in finance, real estate, communication, and entertainment. In continuance of his purpose to empower others, I applied my skillset to a number of other areas. Certified with 300+ hours of training, I served as Operations Manager and Yoga Instructor for Laughing Lotus Yoga Center, where he empowered others through Vinyasa Yoga, Power Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Chakra healing, meditation, and mind-body proficiency. I have continued to support individuals as an independent yoga instructor.

Mia Albrecht - ATX

I knew I wanted to teach yoga when at my lowest moments, the only place I wanted to be was on my mat. I began my yoga practice in 2017 and my dedication has only deepened since. As your teacher I strive to cultivate a healing, comfortable space for you to feel supported, as my teachers did for me. My dedication and love for this practice led me to complete a 200-hour teacher training at Dharma Yoga in the summer of 2023. Since graduating, I have been teaching both individual and group classes. Yoga is a continuous practice, a dependable sanctuary accessible not only on our mats but also in every part of our lives. My mission as your teacher is to create a warm, safe atmosphere on your mat. In my classes, I strive to teach to all levels, tailoring the practice to meet the unique needs of each student. I work to create a soothing, grounded environment for your journey inward. I look forward to practicing with you!

🌟 As we embark on a journey of self-discovery and growth in the coming year, our new yoga teachers are here to guide you, inspire you, and share the transformative power of yoga. Each class is an opportunity to connect, evolve, and embrace the fullness of life.

Let's welcome the New Year with open hearts, open minds, and the collective energy of our vibrant yoga community. Together, let's create a space where wellness flourishes, and inner radiance shines brightly.
