In this workshop, learn the basics of Meditation and Mantra in a warm, supportive environment. Discover why a meditation and yoga practice is so powerful by investigating the deeper philosophy in the Yoga Sutras. Come to a full understanding of what "mantra" is, and learn how to tune into your own healing sound in a safe and comfortable way.
Session will include:
A gentle warm-up of yoga stretches and movement.
Discussion and instruction about meditation, mantra and yoga philosophy.
Meaningful meditation time to explore and experience the practice.
Community Q&A
Useful tips and guidance for developing and continuing an at-home meditation practice.
Chairs or floor cushions, to support comfort of all participants.
Please dress in layers, as we will be sitting and moving.
Bring your yoga mat and a journal to take notes.
All levels welcome. $50.
*** After the workshop, we will be offering Monthly Meditation group sessions with Erica on Thursday evenings. Designed for Q&A and further support on your path to maintaining a regular meditation practice.
